A warm and sunny afternoon, combined with the fantastic location of Birch Hall Adventures, Kirby le Soken, provided perfect conditions and picturesque surroundings for the Band BBQ.
As part of the afternoon, activities had been organised to cater for all. The firm favourite, was a boat trip out onto the beautiful Walton Backwaters to see the seal colony and other wildlife.
Back at the centre, there was also Archery, or for the more adventurous, the climbing wall.
After the activities everyone enjoyed a BBQ meal, washed down by a few glasses of cold beer and wine ( & soft drinks of course!)
The afternoon was rounded off with a cricket match, with some pretty spectacular bowling, batting and acrobatics by the fielders, much to the amusement of the onlookers.
Lots of laughs, eating, drinking and chatting – Thanks to David for organising the event for us all to enjoy.
