Former band member, Lorna Wryraft has achieved her long term ambition of a career in Military music, by recently passing out from Kneller Hall, the training center for the Corps of Army Music.
Lorna was a member of Tendring Brass when it was known as Harwich Royal British Legion Band, and also part of its music school, where Lorna progressed and taught. She then moved away from Essex for further music study in Devon.
Lorna started her military musical career as a trainee with HM Royal Marines, but then transferred to the Corps of Army Music where she completed her phase 2 training, passing out recently. The next stage in Lorna’s life will be to join the Band of the Grenadier Guards as a tuba player.
