First public performance for 18 months

On Saturday 24th July Tendring Brass Main Band performed on Mersea Island at the invitation of the island’s Royal British Legion to celebrate the 100th year of the RBL.

This was the first outing since the end of 2019, due to the pandemic, and it was really good to be out performing again to the public. The band set up under a canopy in the car park of the Legion Hall, and played an assortment of music under the direction of the band’s Assistant Musical Director David Rowland. The afternoon was a great success and was enjoyed by all those present at the celebrations.
